Der März ist schon da, und die Frühlingsgefühle lassen sich nicht mehr im Zaum halten – doch wir spielen auch noch ein bisschen indoors.

Open Ping Pong wird es leider nur am Sonntag, den 9.3. und 16.3. geben. Der Grund: Jedes Mal brauchen wir mindestens eine Person, die das Training hosten kann. Falls sich jemand von euch vorstellen kann, uns dabei zu unterstützen, schreibt bitte an umdi-tischtennis@hotmail.com.

Flinta*-Trainings wird es an allen Montagen im März geben – außer am letzten Montag. Darüber hinaus treffen wir uns am Dienstag, den 4.3., in der Garage Grande im Rahmen der Wiener Frauenwoche. Und weil die 8M-Demo dieses Jahr am Yppenplatz endet, möchten wir nach der Endkundgebung den Tischtennistisch dort für einen Abend als Flinta*-Raum besetzen.

Ende März wird schnell Ende April, und Ende April heißt: Tigerpark Open – am 26. und 27. April. Das Wochenende davor findet außerdem die „Official Street TT World Championship“ im Verein LLOS (Basel, Schweiz) statt.

Zum Schluss noch eine Bitte: UMDI sucht sowohl Unterstützung als auch Raum. Unterstützung brauchen wir für verschiedene Aufgaben wie Trainingshosting, Social Media und Turnierorganisation. Außerdem suchen wir einen Indoor-Spielort in West-Wien oder Umgebung. Falls ihr Lust habt oder Infos dazu habt, schreibt uns an umdi-tischtennis@hotmail.com.

March is already here, and the spring feelings can no longer be contained – but we’re still playing a bit indoors.

Unfortunately, Open Ping Pong will only take place on Sundays, March 9th and 16th. The reason: Each time, we need at least one person who can host the training. If any of you can imagine supporting us in this, please write to umdi-tischtennis@hotmail.com.

FLINTA* training sessions will take place on all Mondays in March – except for the last Monday. Additionally, we will meet on Tuesday, March 4th, at Garage Grande as part of the Vienna Women’s Week. And because the 8M demonstration this year ends at Yppenplatz, we want to occupy the table tennis table there for an evening as a FLINTA* space after the final rally.

The end of March quickly becomes the end of April, and the end of April means: Tigerpark Open – on April 26th and 27th. The weekend before, the „Official Street TT World Championship“ will also take place at the LLOS club (Basel, Switzerland).

Finally, a request: UMDI is looking for both support and space. We need support for various tasks such as training hosting, social media, and tournament organization.
